We welcome Kiev International School of Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (KISRPP) as a new member of the EFPP.
Kiev International School of Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (KISRPP) is a public organization registered in 2019 according to the Law of Ukraine on “Public Organizations”.
The goals of KISRPP are the study, exploration and development of Relational ideas and practice in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy in Ukraine and other East European countries.
The school aims to establish a professional community of relational therapists in accordance with international standards. KISRPP has an observer status in the European Federation of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (EFPP) and is guided in its activities by the EFPP standards and values of high level in learning.
We invite you, professionals from various psychoanalytic traditions to join our school. The school’s staff includes professionals from Israel, the United States and other countries. In the spirit of the relational ideas, we hope to form an open dialogue about the relational perspective between diverse psychoanalytic traditions.

The conference MEDEA – Femininity, Motherhood, Love and Hate will take place in Tbilisi, Georgia, October 19-20, 2018. The Committee of Women and Psychoanalysis writes: “We choose this title because “Medea” – from Colchis, today a part of Georgia – as a mythical figure, represents a universal and multifaceted archetype-a symbol and thus is an image of a powerful, omnipotent, pre-oedipal god-mother, is repressed into the unconscious of every female. In this sense the myth of Medea is a part of our intellectual, cultural and symbolic heritage. The overall theme “Medea” covers many COWAP issues: topics related to issues mainly concerning women, but also relations between men and women, masculinity and femininity in modern times, the outside world and its problems, the socio-cultural point of view and the reflection of psychoanalytic concepts.” The conference will host international but also regional speakers to enhance Psychoanalysis and the support of women’s issues in Eastern Europe.
